Sella, Val Mezd (Midday valley)
Vertical drop: 1400 m. 4560 feet.
Facing: North
Technical difficulty: dubbed the "Valle Blanche of the Dolomites", the Val Mezdi a classic and wonderful 4,000 foot downhill in a typical Dolomite surroundings. Because of avalanches, be careful when crossing the S-W face of Piz Bo (alternative route). The downhill is not so hard.Cristallo, Creste Bianche-Pra del Vecio (White ridges- Old Mans field)

Technical difficulty: hard only in the first part (couloir 45 sometimes a rope is needed ), but afterwards it is not too hard.

Technical difficulty: hard enough (40). Depends on the weather conditions. You can find the December snow conditions like April or vice-versa.

Technical difficulty: 40 steep couloir in some places only few feet wide. Ideal for teaching steep ski and technique.

Technical difficulty: hard. The biggest problem is avalanche danger. Normally the snow is very good for skiing. Great alternative to the classic entry into the Val Mezd.

Technical difficulty: very steep and a rope is needed. Constant 50. Wonderful extreme downhill skiing.

Technical difficulty: hard. It is very difficult to know the right way into the couloir. Steep, up to 40. The snow conditions are very important!

Technical difficulty: complicated but wonderful combination for real ski mountaineers. Up to 45 of steep couloir.
