If you wish to get an idea of the most beautiful and classic ski excursions of Abruzzo probably this itinerary is the right one for you! One long weekend, from Friday to Sunday, three excursions on three mountains, simbols of this region: the "high traverse" for the highest summit of the Appenini, the Corno Grande (2912m), the "rava della Giumeta bianca" in the Maiella in order to reach Mount Amaro (1600m of descent) and, finally, the "Maiori" canal to Sirente. This itinerary is suitable for all skiers in good phisical shape, some days are long and with a lot of elevation gains and losses. It is important to be able to adapt to every situation and to collaborate with the other group members.
